Better Buddypress Group Posting

Hello Everyone,
I hope all is well. Does anyone know of any plugin (paid or free) that improve the buddypress wal/posting experiencec. My theme right now (buddy) is great but it just has a simple text box with post button. I’d like to be able to change fonts, colors, insert links, pictures. Kind of like a facebook wall. I did some searching and the names of some plugins looked promising but none of them looked like they really did much after looking at it….Thanks!
