Blog Listings in profile and other places…

    In the file: /mu-plugins/bp-blogs/bp-blogs-classes.php

    Change wb.public =1 to wb.public = -1

    Change b.public =1 to b.public = -1

This allows me to show the blogs in profile pages and the blogs directory since they are all private on our site. We have a walled garden for K-12 education. But my question is this: How do I make it so that whether the blog is private or public it shows up on the BP site.

Can I just delete the code that is checking to see if the blogs are public or private? What should I do? Thanks! Please be specific as to what code changes I might need to make.

    Chris

PS. What is happening is that the site is setup to have everything private, but we now have some blogs that are public. Once I make the blog public it disappears from the profile as well as other places. I guess I don’t care whether the blog is public or private, I want it to show up and be accessed by BuddyPress.

I think I got this one… I just deleted any checks for private or public in the file listed above and it was fine. Since we are running a unique install, we don’t care if the blog is public or private.
