Blog locations when using BP secblog

My WPMU network is setup for subdomains. BP is network enabled and root set to secblog (community.mysite.com) define ( ’BP_ROOT_BLOG’, 4 );. When a user registers at the main site and selects ”yes they want a blog,” their blog is assigned blogname.mysite.com. When a user registers at community.mysite.com (the BP site), their blog is assigned blogname.community.mysite.com. ???
Is there a way to blogs at community.mysite.com assigned the same as mysite.com, in other words say userblogname.mysite.com?
If yes, how can I then pull the feed from those blogs into community’s activity stream?
