Actually. It also does not update the title within the My Blog, buddypress dropdown menu either.

I see there is a ticket on this problem: Ticket #2415
Could someone tell me whether I could manually change the name of blog in my database via phpMyAdmin (see meta_key name in wp_bp_user_blogs_blogmeta)?
Would I need to change it in numerous places?

I think that was my ticket. yes you can change the name in the BP table which is the route I had to take, not something I want to have to do on a regular basis though.

Think the correction will be in 1.2.5 but don’t quote me on that check the ticket where you will also be able to copy the modified code and update your files in advance if necessary.
