BP 1.2.9 Activity stream ’Load More’ just repeats the same activity over and over

    Hi guys,

    It’s an old issue that I thought got fixed a fair few point releases ago.

    When hitting ‘Load More’ in the stream, I’m getting the previous page of stream displayed which is all good.

    Further ‘Load More’ requests just repeat this same page over and over and over!

    Can anyone else try this and confirm if it’s the same for them. This happens in the default theme as well as my default child theme.

    Hm – working ok for me. Are you running any caching plugins?

    No I’m not Boone, I’ll deactivate each plugin one by one and see if I can find the culprit. I have had a few conflicts with JQuery today which I have been going through. It might be another one.

    Hmm… Even does it with no plugins and in the default theme.

    I have one piece of custom JQuery which is an accordion menu. It’s not JQuery Tools or anything. it’s just standard JQuery and only 5 lines of code. Could it be a clash? Not quite sure how the stream works!

    False alarm by the looks of things! I’ve changed scripts today and looks like it was a cache thing. Perhaps the cache had saved the script used earlier that was conflicting with JQuery 1.6.1.

    Reset my browser and it’s all good!

    Cool…there have definitely been some funny things with JS caching today. Glad it’s sorted!

    I have this same problem. Disabled every plugin and still get the error. For the past few days the “load More” button doesn’t even work at all.

    Kevin – What browser are you using? Did you clear the cache?

    @boonebgorges I experienced this again last night where the second page of activity was repeated again and again.

    It’s weird because if I reset safari or Chrome and get rid of all browsing hostory etc it works perfectly so I’m not sure if the browsers caching is at fault or if BP is at fault. It’s not my theme as it’s the same in BP Default when this error occurs.

    Any ideas?

    It’s a cookie problem that was not fixed in v1.2.

    However, it is fixed in v1.3:

    @Boone Gorges I did clear the cache and I’m using firefox. It does it on IE and Chrome as well. Today it’s not working at all. http://vapersplace.com/activity/
