BP 2.1 Broke my theme customizations – where is my CSS?

Something in 2.1 must have changed how theme compatibility works. In my child theme I have a /buddypress/ folder. In that folder, I have directories for /members/ and /activity/ (for template customizations) and one called /css/. Inside the CSS folder is my buddypress.css. Up until 2.1 it was working fine. Now after the update, my custom css file isn’t being loaded. Is BuddyPress looking someplace else for it now?
