BP Columns, left sidebar alignment

@modemlooper , In looking at http://www.social-nc.com I am trying to center align content in the left sidebar such that there is equal padding on the right/left of the content. I went through the style.css last night for your BP Columns theme and for the LIFE of me cannot get this to align. Can you PLEASE point me in the right direction?

Sorry, I´m new using wordpress + BP. Could you tell me how I can use 2 sidebars (left and right) in the BP to distribute the widgets?

Create a page called home and then choose a page template then in the settings > reading choose that page as the static front page.
