forgot to say the sidebar is fine on the index page. Click on activity or groups.
@twc01 Initial scan shows that you need to revise 16 BP template files. If you still want to proceed, open up your theme’s header.php file with a text editor, copy all, paste in pastebin.com, click submit and post the generated URI here. Do the same for your theme’s page.php, index.php, sidebar.php and footer.php files.
Thanks:

index.php: http://pastebin.com/bCLLy66a
Sidebar-side.php: http://pastebin.com/vfrW6fBg
footer.php: http://pastebin.com/3YHF2LMN
There is no page.php in the template. There is how ever a footer sidebar so not sure if you need that but here it is:

Thanks

Any luck checking? i do appreciate your time and help with this
Based on the HTML structure of your theme, you need to change 16 template files within the 6 BP folders transferred to your paradise theme folder in server during the compatibility process.
code has been updated and posted at http://wp.me/p1I84P-3r
Thanks, just done the acivity/index.php page to test out but get this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<' in /home/christia/public_html/christianvibe/wp-content/themes/Paradise/activity/index.php on line 10
Open up your revised activity/index.php, copy all, paste in pastebin.com and post the generated url here.
Sorry to mess you about, my partner in this project is not happy with the paradise template so will have be trying another one. Thank you so much for your help though, it has been appreciated.
Hi me again
Sorry to mess you about but we now have the template up that we are keeping and need to get working. Its not too bad if you go to community at http://www.christianinspire.net but still can not work out what code i need to add to the moved files. The below link is for page.php of the template:

I would really appreciate your help on this.
Thanks
Steve
@twc01 Based on source of your page, you’re now using the Risen theme which is quite different from the Paradise theme we set up above.
Start a new topic and along with the code for the page.php file, post also the code for header-page.php, header.php, sidebar-primary.php and footer.php
