$bp global object deprecated

If I’m not mistaken, the $bp global object, documented in the Codex here, is now deprecated. Can this page be archived or updated to reflect this, or ideally changed to indicate the method you can use to still access these data (e.g. the buddypress() function)?

You can still use global $bp; at the beginning of your functions to access the global’s data. But yes, buddypress() is a far better way. You should be able to update the Codex yourself? If that’s not the case, let me know 🙂
