BP Group Documents – Emailing

    Unsure if anyone can help me on this. We have group documents installed (V 0.4.0).

    Currently when a member of a group selects NOT to receive the notification emails they still continue to receive them. And even if the group email is set by admin is users NOT to receive emails all members still do. I’ve noticed a few other topics on this but no conclusive answer as to whether this is a bug and if there is a fix?

    Any help gratefully received…

    I have the same problem. Yes or No settings do not reflect nor take effect.

    There’s a suggestion here that selects “no” by default: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-group-documents-notification-disabled-by-default.

    Didn’t work for me though. What I did instead is comment out the function that actually sends the email notifications in notificiations.php. Just add “*/” (minus the quotes) at the bottom of the file. Assuming that you haven’t altered the file in any way yet.
