BP Head pulling wrong url for Facebook Share.

    I added the Facebook meta needed to share my site properly but when I test it with the Facebook object debugger it says that it specifies multiple url’s. The head is pulling the the url of the first post on my homepage. I’m using the default head so does anyone know how to fix this?

    What are you specifying for the “og:url” tag?

    The url of the website. Before I actually added all the og meta the Facebook link was pulling the meta of the first post on the homepage and it would stay the same post for 3 days at a time while it was cached.

    Share or like? I think the share is failing. They want people to use the like api.

    It’s the share. It actually shares correctly now but it still pulls two url’s. It started pulling the right one first when I stuck the meta at the beginning of the head. Before I had it at the end of the head and it pulled the cached url of the first post. So my only guess is that something in the default head pulls that url of the first post.

    This isn’t really a BuddyPress question, is it? FB customisation is all about the opengraph tags that you built. I can’t even look at what you’ve done because you haven’t linked to your site :)

    Well if it doesnt pull two url’s on a standard wordpress site and then it pulls two with a buddypress site I have to think it’s a buddypress question no?
