Generally in order to post a new wire on a certain group, user has to follow these steps:

– login on bp

– visit group page

– post wire

but with Bp Hushtags users can post their group wire through their profile wire with group name hushtag, so whatever with the hushtag posted on profile wire is automatically posted on groups.

So anyone would like to expand this to make bp much easier to use?

Hash… but Hush. Neat idea. Although it depends on the user knowing and typing the tag correctly. The shorthand ‘code’ that Twitter uses is very confusing to newbies. Ultimately… a “publisher” like Facebook has would be cool… but a lot of work… and a long way off. Still… thinking out loud… one of the options could be to post to a group… with a drop down list of your groups.
