    Hi!

    After I upgraded my WordPress Version to 4.4.1, new registered user from my site doesn’t have First Name & Last Name on WordPress User meta. Any fix for this?

    Thanks!

    As a result, the title is not working properly when on the member profile page.

    @imath any idea if we need to change the name sync stuff for new WP?

    @djpaul i’m not sure it’s linked to xprofile sync it could be something going wrong during the signup process. I will check 4.4.1 changelog and run some tests this week end. Is it a multisite config or a regular one ?

    @danielmariveles

    Just tested on a fresh install (regular config & multisite one).

    When a user registers from the front-end registration form on both configs, i can’t manage to reproduce your issue.

    first_name/last_name user meta are created
    display_name field in table wp_users is created
    value for the xProfile Name field is created in wp_bp_xprofile_data table

    Title of the page is looking like this FirstName LastName - Site Name for profile’s page.

    So everything works fine for me.

    Are you sure it’s happening when a user registers ?
    Have you tried without any other plugin activated than BuddyPress ?

    I already tried but still no luck. I also tried to export my previous bp tables and wp_user & usermeta, but still no luck.

    @imath

    In a woocommere environment where users get registered from there, is there a way to have BuddyPress to sync with WP registration info (i.e. first name, last name, change password)?
    Can this e bidirectional too?

    Thank you!
