Hi,
unfortunately I am a non-coder and want to ask how to hide search fields in a search form based on user role. The plugin that creates the search form is:

BP Search

So, for example I want subscribers to only see first search field, contributor can see 2 and so on. What steps would I have to take? Code/function wise?

After reading some github and other pages I think I need to start with :
– “get current user role”
– then do something like “if user is role X”
– then action hide field #number of field
– and this for each user role I use

Am I even close to it?
I appreciate any input or suggestion 😉
