Initial scan reveals that you would have to change 17 files from the BP folders transferred to your Rounder theme in server during the BP compatibility process. Know that in come BP version 1.7, you won’t need to do the compatibility process anymore.
If you don’t want to wait and therefore continue with the compatibility process, open up your theme’s header.php file, copy all, paste to pastebin.com, click submit and post the generated URL here. Do the same for your theme’s page.php, index.php, sidebar.php and footer.php files.
Hi,
Thanks for your quick response. I won’t be able to wait for the new BP version, unfortunately. I’ve copy pasted the urls, see below. I couldn’t find a sidebar.php and there were both an index.php as well as a page.php — not sure which one I was supposed to use.
Does this give you enough information?
Header.php: http://pastebin.com/CrWcpv7w
Index.php: http://pastebin.com/zDJQm6NJ (says main index template)
Page.php:http://pastebin.com/thTmCA07 (says Page template)
Sidebar.php: for some reason I can’t find this one.
Footer.php: http://pastebin.com/YjLVtXCB
Thanks! Femke
@getpeppered Based on the codes you posted in pastebin.com (you have no footer code by the way) the theme authors of the AIT Rounder theme are not using the normal WP template files and instead have rewritten it and made it very difficult to reverse engineer the theme’s proprietary code just to get the HTML tags for Step 3 of the BP Compatibility process.
At this point, I suggest that you contact the theme authors about providing assistance for Step 3 of the BP compatibility process. As I mentioned above, you would need to change 17 template files from the BP folders in your server. Here are examples of changes in 17 files
