[Resolved] BP user menu items

Can anyone tell me how BP adds user menu links into the WP user profile menu (on the toolbar)? I need to do the same thing since the theme I’m working with uses that menu to create a right slide panel on mobile.

I know I can use a plugin to do this but I’d like to mirror the method used by BP.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the reply, I see what you’re suggesting, but I’m looking for a function to directly add items to the profile menu on the toolbar in the same way BP does. I don’t want to assign profile items to a theme location, or create a new menu within my theme.
