BP3.0 strange behavior

    Hi,
    i am running WP Multisite 4.9.6 with BP 3.0 and a bunch of WPMU plugins like Domain Mapping and Multi Domains etc.

    After the update to BP3.0 i noticed a very strange behavior on my site, first the activity stream update stopped working, was not able to enter new updates. then i noticed that the buddypress login widget didn´t work anymore and ended into an 502 Bad Gateway error (login via /wp-admin still works). trial and error deactivating several plugins did not help, i assume it´s all abour BP3.0…?

    strange thing,.. when i tired other themes, because first idea was that the latest update of the Kleo theme i use causes some troubles, the activity stream updates work fine when i am in Live view of a theme, and still works after saving the theme until i logout and login again,..

    is that all about BP3.0 ?

    I had the same problem but here is a temporary solution until you get your theme or buddypress updated again.

    i am not sure if it is a theme issue, is it?
    i have the same issue also using other themes,..

    If you are encountering problems with the group activity stream not showing the Comment button, then this is a reported bug with a fix here:
    https://buddypress.org/support/topic/comment-button-and-reply-not-showing/#post-273325

    I cannot duplicate the problem with the login widget.

    thanx @r-a-y i even missed that one at groups activity

    on the main activity stream i see a “update button” and “load more” button but they don´t work 🙁

    Sounds like there is a javascript conflict on your site.

    gettin closer,.. fyi, my topic seems to be related to a bug in the wpmu domain mapping plugin (“admin-ajax.php” calls causing “mixed content” issue), wpmu is working on a fix

    activity stream update button and load more issue solved with fix provided by wpmudev

    sill have the issues with 502 bad gateway error when logging in via BP login widget, any idea on that?

    The log in widget, and the activity stream comment bugs, will be fixed in v3.1.0, which will come out before the end of next week.
