BuddyPress.org

I will begin by stating that this is definitely a theme-related issue. I’m using the Evolve theme by Theme4Press. This is a brand new site, all versions of WordPress, BuddyPress, and the Evolve theme are the latest versions, and have been installed within the past 2 weeks.

For the most part, everything works well, and I’ve found no other compatibility issues. But the one problem is that the BuddyPress buttons have been changed to essentially white letters on a white background, making them almost entirely unreadable. When I tried in other themes, this did not happen, so it’s definitely an issue with this specific theme.

Nothing that I can change in the options makes any difference to this, so I’m assuming it’s a css issue.

I already tried to find the answer through Theme4Press, but neither inquiries in their forum, nor direct requests to their support, have resulted in any answers (I’ve been waiting for a week). So I’m turning to the community here for help.

I have pretty much zero knowledge of using css, so in asking me questions or giving me advice, please speak to me as an idiot…make it as simple and clear as possible.

My request: Please help me figure out how to change the buttons to make them readable. I’m not going to change the theme, it is perfect for my purposes…so if I can’t make this work, I’ll have to drop BuddyPress, which I’d really rather not do.
