When I install buddy press only activity and members show up in navigation. Also, there is no buddy press menu to customize in WordPress. All I trying to do is have buddy press ‘profile” to show up on my main navigation menu. However, buddy press menu under “menu customize” doesn’t show buddy press menu other than just members and activity.

Please advise how I can get “profile” to be on the navigation menu for users to click and see their profile.

@tramford – I think when you are logged in, you hover over your screen name in the top right admin bar, and that has a hover menu with link to your profile (?)

the bp-social theme (not free) has a kind of sub menu with a profile link that shows at top of pages, below the admin bar, but I am not sure how they coded that. I imagine there is a simple bp-template tag available that you could hardcode into a theme.

I just checked on one of my bp-installs, and when I go to appearance->menus ; I have a list of a few pages that can be added to the menu and I did not see an option for “profile” like you are saying.. however, under that list of pages on the left is like a button bar titled “budypress” with a dropdown caret showing – if I click that I have an option for profile and some other bp related pages.. I had never noticed that before, not sure if you will find that there with your install setup ?
