Buddy Press to search for all members not just active members

Hi,

We have a search members plugin on this page https://members.aelert.net/groups/aelert-members-discussion-forum/ . the search only returns active members and we wanting it to be able to search for all BP members. How do we get the search to search all members?

Wordpress 3.7.1
Buddy Press 2.5.1
