buddybar.css or buddybar.dev.css?

    I’m new to BP and have started experiencing problems with the “Visit” menu not showing up. I’m looking thru the css and questioning which file (buddybar.css or buddybar.dev.css) to manipulate, and whether doing so, will be lost when BP is updated. Any guidance is so appreciated!!! BP version=”1.5.6″.
