BuddyPress 1.0 RC-2 is now availiable for download.

Please note that WordPress MU 2.7.1 is required for this version.

IMPORTANT! – If you are upgrading from RC-1 is is extremely important that you follow the RC-1 upgrade guide. Simply upgrading without reading this will result in your site breaking.

Note: You can now also download and install BuddyPress from the plugin browser within your WordPress MU installation.

Today i ugraded WPMU to 2.7.1 and BP to RC 2. Good work!

Maybe some newest language files will be for this version?

I installed WPMU 2.7.1 and then BP 1.0 RC-2, but nothing happens.

Neither ‘themes’ no ‘appearance’ shows BP RC2 is installed.

Further, plugins show “You do not appear to have any plugins available at this time”.

It obviously is not as easy as you have mentioned.

I followed it line by line, Andy,

bu there is no way I can see the buddypress theme.

But buddyptress is shown as a plugin activated.

The funny thing is pages other than the main page do show the buddypress theme.
