BuddyPress.org

Sorry, I just began using BuddyPress so I probably havent completely figured out how it works. Maybe it is in a FAQ so a link would also be helpful:

If I have a user on a subdomain who selects the buddypress theme as uhm theme he has at the top the menu items they refer however to http://USER.mainblog.com/activity etc,,, which when clicked show “The page you were looking for was not found. ” so probably this needs to be a link to http://mainblog.com/activity instead

I was just wondering how to change this or if maybe I do something wrong here.
