BuddyPress activated, but 404 not found

Hey

Plugins, BuddyPress, activated.
/wp-admin/plugins.php
You can check if it’s there: Extended Profile and /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=bp-components.
That’s good.

http://www.dot.com/members/steve, http://www.dot.com/members/steve/profile or others:

Error, 404 not found.

Not so good. Why?

Set your permalinks to ‘Post Name’ and click ‘Save Changes’.
