Buddypress adminbar menu does not work on mobile phones

    It seems to be some problem with the menu items in the admin bar drop down menu related to Buddypress. The items i´m talking about is Activity, Settings, Forums and so on. These do not seem to respond in mobile phones such as Android and Iphone regardless of what web browser are used. Clicking these links only causes the drop down menu to disappear, and no new page is loaded. The sub menus aren’t shown either by the way, but i regard this as a slightly less serious problem.

    At first i thought this was due to some incompatibility between Buddypress and my Twenty Eleven theme, but i find the exact same problem here on Buddypress.org. Surely Buddypress.org must be the most Buddypress compatible site out there?

    I would be very grateful to you all if you could test this problem for me. Please log in to your Buddypress.org account using your mobile phone or surfing pad, then click on the “Howdy, *username*” menu item in the top right of the page and try to click any of the sub menu items “Activity”, “Sites”, “Settings”, “Profile” or “Forums”. Does the link load or not?

    Thanx in advance.

    With the new update of wordpress, i found out that this has nothing to do with BuddyPress or any theme, it is a bug in wordpress itself. The have tried to fix it, but its still not working well, the menu fills the screen and cannot be scrolled or hidden. I recommend hiding all buddypress menus until the bug gets fixed:

    /* =Hide BuddyPress sub menu until it works in mobile phones
    ————————————————————– */
    #wpadminbar .quicklinks .menupop ul.ab-sub-secondary {
    display: none !important;
    }
