Buddypress album not working with WP3.3.1. Options?

I really would like to use BP album on my blog site. I know there are alternatives, but I kind of have my heart set on BP album.

When I install it, the album works fine but the bugs are elsewhere.
1- Users cant see what they are typing when making a new post
2- Admin Dashboard wont load when its installed

Anybody know of any fixes? Or even an alternative that is very similar to this album?
