BuddyPress and Bones

I’m using the Bones Development theme, which is a responsive theme layout.

BuddyPress breaks the responsive layout of the theme on its pages.

    How do I fix that?

I’m using it for the HTML advantages. I know nothing about PHP fixes so I don’t want to mess with anything.

To clarify, you’re using the WordPress responsive version as seen here -> http://themble.com/bones/#bones-showcase and https://github.com/eddiemachado/bones

After activating the BP Template Pack plugin, you still go through Step 3 of the Appearance > BP Compatibility process to surround the BP template files with HTML structure of Bones. Scanning Bones’ pages.php, you’d need to change 16 BuddyPress template files in your bone’s theme folder in server.

right, but Bones is built on a grid so I am considering forking this as a project on Github…I am not a php expert so I really hesitate to touch it.

I think I am going to fork this on GitHub and if anyone wants to help, we can make the theme available WTFPL. I’d also like to fork a wp bootstrap/buddy press theme.

Yo! Did you fork this? I’m just about to customise those 16 theme templates, and I’m just not sure where to edit the templates exactly.
