BuddyPress.org

I had Buddy press working with ThemeTwentyEleven, then I tried installing the bp-template-pack to use all Buddypress features – tried to follow the instructions without success… so thought I would reverse engineer and tried to undo/remove the files I was told to create in the hope it would revert to normal – this failed. I now cannot see the site on ‘Liveview’ or directly on the localhost.
The question is, do I abandon the whole thing and start again or can anyone help and give any advice what I need to do?
I would also like the navigation menu of Buddypress in the right sidebar…

Just discovered its something to do with the theme files because the ‘native Buddypress’ theme works with no problem. It may be that I go with the native theme for the moment… and just change the image in the header.
If Buddypress could have the option of working seamlessly with the wp native TwentyEleven theme ‘out-of-its-box’ that would be be pretty nifty!
