Buddypress and Woopra integration – send custom visitor data to Woopra

    Hi

I’m wondering if anyone has any experience in integrating the buddypress xprofile fields with Woopra’s custom visitor data?

I’m currently using Membership plugin to restrict certain content on my site to members only. Users have to complete a registration form to become a member. The registration/profile fields are created using the Buddypress xprofile feature. I have also installed Woopra for tracking user activity. The Woopra wp plugin sends user profile data to Woopra after a subscriber has logged in but this only includes name, avatar and email. I would like to also send the custom reg data created by buddypress.

I understand its possible just to edit the woopra plugin to add the fields I’ve created?

If anyone can help that would be awesome

    Thanks
    Stefan

So no one has used the xProfile fields with Woopra stats?

@stefan83 Did you ever figure this out? I’m looking to do the same.

    Hi @BuddyBoss,

Try and play with this plugin if you really want to import user data to custom CRM applications (it’s a little old and was developed for another WP plugin):
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-crm-buddypress-xprofile/

Feel free to download that plugin, study its source, implement whatever customisations you want as per Woopra and test to see if it solves your issue.

P.S. If you end up modifying that plugin to accommodate other important user data fields, don’t forget to rename it to something else and block off ALL its internal call for updates (whenever the parent plugin is pushed for updates, otherwise ALL your changes will disappear should you mistakingly push through with the update).

Thanks! I’ll play with that plugin and see how they implemented the user field data. And yes I’ll make sure to cut off the plugin from updates and back up my edits.
