buddypress api plugin(s) (preferably based on rest-api)?

I’m researching BuddyPress JSON/REST APIs and I’ve found two: https://github.com/tweichart/JSON-API-for-BuddyPress, which requires json-api (older and independent from the new rest-api), and https://github.com/modemlooper/BP-API, which requires rest-api but evidently doesn’t do much yet.
Are there any others?
Has anybody used either of these?
