[Resolved] BuddyPress Components do not have associated WordPress Pages

WP: 3.5.2 // BP 1.7.2
I have installed WP MU and have installed BP on 2 subsites (eg. http://www.site.com/subsite1).
When activating BP on the subsites I get the notification:
The following active BuddyPress Components do not have associated WordPress Pages: Members, Activate, Register.
I have created the pages but in the BP settings > Pages I cannot assign the pages, they don’t appear in the drop down box.
I have changed the permalinks already and mod_rewrite is enabled.
Where am I going wrong?
