Which is usual behaviour! Can you not after login access the dashboard from the BP or WP adminbars or from /wp-admin/
No, Buddypress is running as a sub-domain, the inital admin panel only reflects the primary theme.
Check the wp-config.php and see if this line of code has been added:
`define( ‘BP_DISABLE_ADMIN_BAR’, true );`
If so just remove it. You may want to also try adding /wp-admin to the url after you log-in.
example: http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin
don’t dribble information out dump it all in the opening post plaese
MS runs slightly differently you need to look for the link to network admin BP will be installed from there and you’ll be able to access subdomains from there and possibly from adminbar links can’t recall off top of my head without checking.
define( ‘BP_DISABLE_ADMIN_BAR’, true ); is not in the wp-config file, and If i login into my domain/wp-admin it takes me to the primary domain’s dashboard.
Just get in to the general backend then work out your surroundings from the links, MS is somewhat confusing and sadly not that greatly intuitive.
Hugo, thats interesting I have to directely type in the entire url to the sub-domain and access the admin that way. Well that worked just a little inconvient.
not sure why that is – from any general point in the dashboard backend you should be able to access all sites / network admin what user role do you have? needs to be highest.
