Hello

has anything changed from BP 2.4 onwards as to how buddypress handles/creates menus?

i used to successfully use Ron’s wp replicator plugin to create replica of WP+BP multisite.

from BP 2.4 onwards when i replicate the site the menus dont get copied. strangely if i try to create a menu manually it doesnt allow. no menu is created manually in short on the replicated website..

Even if i try to import menu it gives the error “Menu item skipped due to invalid menu slug”

Does BuddyPress add menu items to one menu by default or automatically?

Is it possible that BP replaces the contents of the menu with it’s own links (the main BP pages)??? If the pages weren’t assigned the original menu items it might still be deleted but no new items are added to it???

any help/pointers is highly appreciated.
