Buddypress doesnt do anything

  • stuartbennett2012

I installed buddypress on a wordpress site i manage and activated it i get the settings area and i get an activity feed and members page.

but in settings you dont have an existing registration page and when i go to add new page to go and build one theres no access to the buddypress system with which to add in buddypress registration elements into the page.

this means the buddypress plugin is essentially useless it doesnt do anything.

what the hell am i supposed to do with it to create a social networking site within my wordpress hosted domain?

  • I would strongly urge you to first have a good read through what articles we currently have in the codex to familiarise yourself with basic setup & operation:

    Getting Started

Then if you have further questions post back with a full outline of your setup – check the forum stickies which tell you what information to provide in order to gain help here.
