I’ve been having problems with Forum Attachments after making some updates. I thought that the plugin was completely broken, since it’s not saving any images in the bb-attachment folder.

However, I created a new (hidden) group today and posted a message with a photo. It worked! I’m wondering if there’s something wrong with the group, or if there’s something I need to do. It worked before.

Any thoughts on what to do? I see all the necessary tables in mySQL, but for some reason a specific forum isn’t uploading images.

OK, so I’ve played around it some more and it seems that any replies to the original post won’t allow image uploads even though the image browse fields are there. I was wrong about the Group – it seems to be applicable to replying or commenting to a forum post.

Has anyone had this problem before?

OK, false alarm. It seems that the server didn’t like OLDER posts. If I uploaded a new forum post + pictures, that worked. If I replied with additional pictures, that worked too.

It failed every single time I tried to reply to an OLDER post prior to updating some plugins (can’t remember which one..). That’s a valuable lesson for me. Don’t update something that ain’t broken!!

That’s weird. I’m having a similar issue where I can create a post and add images to it, but I can’t add images to the replies within that post. My site is only a month old and I haven’t even started to tick off some of the plugins I installed. Maybe I should start by deactivating them one by one and seeing if any of them are causing conflicts.

Hm… also finding out that the post MUST have some text added to it or else BP will spit an error: There was an error when replying to that topic.
