    How can I get rid of the unwanted text in my BuddyPress Forum page (http://bnleez.com/forums/)? My bb-config.php file reads as follows:

    -1
    $bb->custom_user_table = ‘wp_users’;
    $bb->custom_user_meta_table = ‘wp_usermeta’;

    $bb->uri = ‘http://bnleez.com/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-forums/bbpress/’;
    $bb->name = ‘Collaborative Understandings Forums’;

    define(‘BB_AUTH_SALT’, ‘put your unique phrase here’);
    define(‘BB_LOGGED_IN_SALT’, ‘put your unique phrase here’);
    define(‘BB_SECURE_AUTH_SALT’, ‘put your unique phrase here’);

    define(‘WP_AUTH_COOKIE_VERSION’, 2);

    ?>

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Ok, I got rid of the unwanted text (removed it from the bb-config.php file), but I’m still unable to assign forum posts to groups. Any suggestions?

    Wow, definitely need a BP Forums for Dummies book right about now. Looking for online tutorials…

    Here is another screencast with more information related to the issue: http://youtu.be/lcOd5H_fNws

    Still not sure how to resolve the problem.

    Forums for Groups and Sitewide Forums are definitely working in WP 3.2.1 and BP 1.5.1 and bbPress 2.0
    BP Codex – https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/

    The BuddyPress demo site at http://testbp.org/ is on:
    “This site is running the most recent nightly development versions of BuddyPress and WordPress and should be considered mostly stable with a chance of rain.
    WordPress 3.3-aortic-disection
    BuddyPress 1.6-bleeding
    bbPress 2.1-bleeding”

    Per your screencast, you’re using WP 3.3 beta 3. Are you using trunk versions of BuddyPress 1.6 and bbPress 2.1 as well? Having asked that, no guarantees until all are stable.

    FYI, BuddyPress trunk is a bit tricky at the moment to install/upgrade. There’s some sort of intermittent failure during the install process. You’ve been warned :)
