Buddypress Group Permissions maybe a bug

    I noticed when a group is created as a private group any posts to it does not show up in the activity stream for members subscribed to the group. The group also does not show up in the new forum topic drop down if it is set as private and you are a member if the group. Was this by design or is this i bug?
