BuddyPress ideas forum — please read

Last year after version 1.0, Andy Peatling gathered together a “wish list” of features for BuddyPress and put together a poll. That poll let everyone vote on those ideas, and the feedback helped prioritise development in versions 1.1 and 1.2.

And now we’re doing it again.

In this ‘Ideas’ forum, please tell us what features or enhancements you want to see in future versions of BuddyPress.

    • Please make one post per idea.
    • If you agree with someone else’s idea, reply to that post.

In a timeframe yet to be determined, I will then read each idea, make a big list, and take it into a future BuddyPress developer chat. We’ll pick the best and the most important ideas, and then we’ll put it up on a poll for you to vote on.

So, help shape BuddyPress’ future through 2010.

Today I am going to make a list of all of the ideas on this forum so that we can get them to go into a poll.

Should we mention our ideas/wishes here or will you collect them?

    I’ll Collect them all up

I’m going to mark threads which I’ve looked in green, by the way.

EDIT: The ideas subforum doesn’t seem to have this feature, so I can’t do this

This is tangential, but is it kosher to suggest feature enhancements for this forum right here in this subforum?

As more people are coming in, it’s getting increasingly frustrating to use the forum here, unfortunately.

is there already a possibility to vote ?
