Buddypress images and WP Smush it

Hello

I have seen that the images of my groups of Buddypress are out of the media gallery of WordPress and because this the plugin Smush it can’t resize it.

There is some way for fix this?

Probably not really unless you (or a developer) builds something custom, but one of the things we will do soon – either in the next release (2.3) or the one after (2.4), we’re seriously looking at overhauling how we handle images. We’ll keep this use case in mind (having them stored in the media gallery).

@djpaul If you can integrate p2 theme for buddypress maybe efforts at re-inventing wheels can be spared. p2 has a status box that can post single or multiple images as well create albums (galleries) from the status text area box (which also lets you post blog from front end)
