BuddyPress & Maintenance Mode Plugin Issues

Has anyone experienced an issue trying to use the Maintenance Mode plugin with BuddyPress 1.1? It appears that you can’t have both activated on WPMU at the same time.

I have not heard of any issues, but then again, I have also not heard of anyone using that particular plugin with BuddyPress. Did it work with BP 1.0.3? Does the plugin even say that it will work with BuddyPress at all?

I suggest contacting the plugin developer and asking them when (or if) they plan to offer support for BP 1.1

The weird thing is that it works and displays the splash page to visitors, it’s me when logged in that gets the white screen on the actual site.

Hum. Strange. But, your best bet is still to contact the plugin developer.

By the way, I have moved this thread to the “Third Party Components & Plugins” forum as it is more than likely not a BuddyPress issue but a plugin conflict.

As the originator of this post, you also have the power to close it out!

But before you do so, please contribute to the community and tell everyone what you did to resolve the issue. Congratulations!

It’s more likely he forgot to remove bp related plugins from mu-plugins folder after deactivating buddypress. I had the same problem yesterday when I used it.
