Buddypress Members Import

Hi,
does someone have experiences with the plugin Buddypress Members Import? I tried to import 14.000 members by using this plugin. It stopped at every 1.000. That way I managed to fill my BuddyPress community step by step with 6.400 members (with profile and xProfile) by now. But now with every import try I get the fatal error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 18670961 bytes) in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas05_data01/48/2435548/html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-members-import/buddypress-members-import.php on line 141

What can I do?

You need to increase php memory limit. In fact – I’m here with the same problem, so I hope you don’t mind, if I’ll leave my question here? 🙂

Nearly the same problem – I have a site with 40+ thousands subscribers. So after installing BP, I recieved the same error as Eladawien. Oscource it was a test site 🙂
I have increased memory limit up to 1gb… and only after that it began to work… It is working now, but I think 1gb memory is not an option.
As i understand, BP is not designed for such a number of users? Or we with Eladawien are doing something wrong?
