Buddypress not working

I recently installed buddypress on my local computer (Running with mamp). I enabled pretty permalinks and then after, it said Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wordpress/ on this server. I then deleted .htaccess and now buddypress pages say Not Found
The requested URL /wordpress/members/ was not found on this server. Any suggestions?
