buddypress plugin for IP address detection

hi there,
I am having trouble finding a buddypress plugin that will enable me to record the IP address of users at the time of them registering. I did try register-ip plugin but it can’t work in buddypress.

I hope you can tell me what other plugin or method that can be used to record a user ip address at the time of their creation in buddypress.
