buddypress profile page not responsive

Hi,
I am wondering if the profile page of buddypress should be responsive or not. Especially the menu’s and sub menu’s.
Because when I look on my mobile it looks like this:
When this is not the way it should work.. with the very small buttons and weird menu item text.. what can cause this behaviour
Or is this how it works??
