BuddyPress Registration Options vs. Manage Signups

Hi All,

I set up BuddyPress on my site, dogsyyc.ca, and I installed BuddyPress Registration Options to force the manual approval of memberships. I then noticed the “Manage Signups” button in the Users panel. This appears to do the same thing but I want to be absolutely sure.

Can I deactivate the Registration Options plugin?

I am on WordPress 4.4.2 and BuddyPress 2.4.3.
