Right, after a few months work, I’ve finally got my first attempt at a WPMU / Buddypress site up and ready for testing, excuse a few rough edges that need some tidying, but here’s my two cents.

Basically it’s a philosophy social network for everyone, “The quest for philosophical answers” in a manner of speaking I’d say it’s a bit like Twitter with direction, I’d love to hear any feedback or suggestions, I am well aware there is room for improvement and there are still check boxes left on my to-do list but hopefully you’ll get the idea.
It is my first go though so be gentle with the over technical criticism.
I’m using BuddyPress to furnish an internal student website servicing 1100+ students for Ex’pression College for Digital Arts located in Emeryville, CA.

Hello Eco Living is a brand new site focused on Eco / Green / Sustainable living.
With a magazine, social network, and blog platform (all WP / BuddyPress powered of course).
The site officially launches this month, initially with a UK focus.
We developed the site with a lot of love; there are finishing touches on the graphics (best viewed on a Mac at the moment) that we are really proud of.
The client has the site out in Beta at the moment… please let us have your thoughts.

WordPress blog since 2006, bbPress forum added in 2008, and now a BuddyPress community. To start with we’re only using extended profiles and private messaging, but will layer in additional features over time.
Very grateful for the powerful platform that Andy and team have created, and for the great support offered by Burt, JJJ, Jeff and all the others on the forum.
Not sure if everyone knew this, but wordpress.org uses BuddyPress now!
