buddypress tool count total number not working

please help me, this have being giving me serious headache because i need to reset the total number. i have once deleted all the registered member because they were registered by sploggers, the number has refused to change despite the fact that i used this buddypress tool count total number. help how do i reset and make the counters work fine

@jrzwv you mean https://codex.buddypress.org/buddypress-components-and-features/buddypress-repair-tools-admin-screen/ ? Is the actual member count more OR less than what is showing on your screen? Are you using a cache plugin? If so, have you cleared cache and/or deactivated that plugin?

thank you for the response. yes i used that tool. it is showing more sir. i don’t specifically use a cache plugin sir.

I just deactivated all my plugins and changed my theme, then i used the tool again and it still did not work. 1318 is showing buddypress all members frontend and Viewing member 1 to 20 (of 1,320 active member). I have just 8 registered member. Please i need your help sir. how do i fix this?
