    Hi,

is there anyway to have buddypress widgets as shortocodes(or sth like that) so that I can use them is specific pages?

I want to have a specific page with recently active members.
I know that this can be done with a plugin but I dont want to do this way.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

If you do not want to use plugins then I will suggest to write a new one for yourself. You can take references from all those shortcode plugins.

If you don’t want to write shortcodes then please check this thread https://buddypress.org/support/topic/how-to-make-my-buddypress-widgets-only-show-on-specific-pages/

You can add them in a specific sidebar and then can call them on your specific pages only.

There is a plugin also named Restrict Widgets that lets you choose on which page you want to show widgets.

    Thanks
