Buddypress, Woo Commerce and multi vendor stores

Just wondering if it’s possible to integrate BP with Woocommerce so that each user can have their own store on the one same site? (like Etsy?) and if so, how do we do it?

    Thanks.

@mercime Thanks, I’ve seen that plugin (I did extensive searching online before I posted my question). It doesn’t seem to do what I want it to do – ie for buddypress users to set up multiple stores.

It seems like there is only one store and it shows feeds of what the users are buying, product groups, etc?

I’d be interested in finding out more about this too. 🙂 Maybe WordPress Network is necessary?

@vayu @astarina, you may want to look into a theme called dokan, it’s a multi-vendor marketplace based on woocommerce. though i am not too sure about the buddypress integration, this may be possible for the author to add if demand or price is strong enough 😉

Thanks Tinus2. Yes, I know this theme Dokan and have given this a serious thought, but was interested in what other posibilities there were.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-ecommerce/ aka MarketPress. You would need multisite BP and this plugin works fine with that.

Dokan looks very interesting indeed, but such a shame they’ve released it as a theme and not a plugin – means I can’t wire it in to my existing theme. :/
