I had, but than switched that widget to recently active users…
maybe it’s about user admin doesn’t shows?
Hmmmm – no, I logged in with different users… shows nothing.
Yeah – I am using the resently-sctive-widget too, but still want to use the online-widget.
Any others having the same issue? Or could someone test it?

I’m experiencing this too. Running BP 1.2.1, WPMU 2.9.1, PHP Version 5.2.9-2, Apache 2.2.11 (Win32). On the previous version, the Who’s Online work perfectly, on the current version, I just get the annoying “There are no users currently online”.
I know that there are at least 16 people online, but for some reason, they are not displayed. I Google’d for a solution, but have not (up to now) found anyone experiencing this with the new version.

yeah, same issue here on my website. Using latest WPMU and BP 1.2.1
I do not see the “who is online”-user-avatars at the right column.
“There are no users currently online” – same issue.

change “NOW()” to “UTC_TIMESTAMP()”
Don’t know if it’s a good solution but it works
